Against the backdrop of the Fourth Industrial Revolution in global manufacturing， this paper focuses on the “Lighthouse Factories” designated by the World Economic Forum. Investigating the rise of China’s “Lighthouse Factories” is of profound theoretical and practical significance for understanding the strategic transformation logic and the trajectory of global influence formation in China’s manufacturing sector in the new era. From a global perspective， this study systematically analyzes the development of China’s “Lighthouse Factories”， focusing on three core aspects： first， how “Lighthouse Factories” serve as a critical carrier for China’s transition from the “World’s Factory” to a “Smart Manufacturing Power”； second， the evolutionary logic of Lighthouse standards and the transformation and upgrading of Chinese manufacturing within the global Lighthouse network； and third， the global significance of China’s Lighthouse development across dimensions such as smart manufacturing leadership， green transition， supply chain resilience， labor force transformation， and technological inclusivity. The study concludes that the rise of China’s “Lighthouse Factories” not only reflects a strategic leap in “Smart Manufacturing in China” but also provides a replicable and scalable “China Solution” for the intelligent， green， and integrated transformation of global manufacturing， serving as a pivotal force in driving the evolution of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
